My favourites from the A/W 12 collection, this set has got everything I'm obsessing over right now, gently curled hair, soft make up, delicate blouses mixed with feminine tuxedos. Parfait!
You've all probably heard about this by now (if you haven't...do you live in a cave?) Kony is one of the most wanted international war criminals by the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands, who's wanted for crimes against humanity and terrorism. In brief, what he does is send his rebels out to kidnap young children for his army, the RLA (Lord's Resistance Army). The boys get used a child soldiers and the girls become sex slaves. Some of the child soldiers' roles is to kill, in many cases even their own parents, and mutate the faces of innocent and enemies. He is based in Sudan but since the increased awareness in America the RLA have started to spread to neighbouring African countries. Here's the video by the man behind the whole campaign and how to get involved. I know people may argue that there are worse things going on in Africa right now and the Americans have money to support this operations etccc, but how amazing would it be if YOU could join and say that YOU, not some superpower, contributed to the capture of Joseph Kony?
However, if you are slightly critical on the whole matter, here's the tumblr of a 2nd-year Politics student who rhetorically questions whether the money collected should be spent on victims, etc. Please do check it out, the author provides some thought provoking arguments.
Please just take half an hour of your day to watch this video which will hopefully inspire you to take action. I know in London there will be a 'Cover the Night' campaign on 20th APRIL 2012, where at sundown, people will meet at St Pancras Station to collect the posters and spend all night pasting them on every street corner in London. The same events will take place in the majority of major cities in the world, so search on Facebook events to see if this will take place in your city.

I'm so ready for summer... and here's a tutorial on how to make the perfect flower headband from Honestly, WTF. I actually wanted to try my hand at this last summer but I couldn't find the right materials! This summer I'm determined to do it!
Simple classic clothing. I'm lusting for a shopping trip (even though I'm broke as hell) and after searching on online shops, I think I'll be hitting places such as Gap, Uniqlo and Zara the most! Here's what I wore today!

Sorry for not posting this week, I was so so busy! Vowing to post more regularly. Speaking of vowing, saw The Vow at the cinema on Saturday, it was so sad! However, I didn't cry so I felt a bit unsatisfied, but anyways, a great movie, definitely go see it if possible.
SORRY for the extremely late post, the internet's been down and now that it's back up it's been quite slow :( Spent so long trying to post this that these photos are starting to become my least favourite now haha. My favourites of this week (well past week, now) have been more outfit orientated as I've been battling with my wardrobe to produce SOMETHING to wear. It seems that all I can and want to wear are jumpers and jeans and I'm getting sick of it, I want to find new ways of wearing them while staying practical at the same time!
Tomorrow I'm off to go explore markets around London, so if anyone has any good (and cheap!!) boutiques to check out please let me know!
Here are some of my all time favourite photos of Ms Elle Fanning. I think the reason as why I have such an obsession with her is her attitude. Every single photo shoot she's ever done never fails to blow me away, at the tender age of 13 she already photographs as well as, or better dare I say, than an experienced model, her style just amazes me; how can such a young girl appear so mature and experienced?. To put it simply: this girl's only going to get bigger and better (if possible?!)
